Ride For Heart 2010

The only 2 pics I was able to snap:   My two riding buddies (Cam and Hazer) and a very large display of bananas.  This morning in Toronto it was cold and raining - make that pouring.  How does one spell epic?  The Ride for Heart 2010.
As I'm writing this a couple of hours later,  I look outside and the ground is dry and let's just check the forecast.  Yup, looks like it's gonna be a pretty nice day.  Shit.

Ride for Heart

Today was a great day of riding for Marty, Cam and myself as we completed a 50km stretch on the Gardiner/DVP. The morning was a little cool but with continuous spinning our bodies quickly warmed up. A ton of participants as usual and saw a lot of little ones in their Chariots (can't wait to pull Justin next year). What a great way to spend our Sunday. They should close the Gardiner/DVP at least once a month...hmm, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't go over too well.

Ride for Heart

June 1, 2008. Toronto. Only once a year do cyclists in this city get a chance to ride on the most flowing, widest, and smoothest bike path in the city - the Don Valley Parkway. And of course it's for an amazing cause, being heart and stroke research. Last year Brenda and I took to the highway and this year me and Stitt rode on the DVP. I consider this ride to be one of the highlights of the season and I can't wait to introduce it to as many people as possible in the years to come.
